For Maternity Leave: Eligible student will be granted extension of maximum candidature by one semester and waiver of one semester tuition fees. For students on NTU Research Scholarship, the fee waiver will apply to the semester immediately after the expiry of scholarships. For all other students, the fee waiver will be for the extended semester after maximum candidature.

For Internship Leave: Eligible criteria is available at Postgraduate Internship Programme.

Leave of absence is counted towards the student's maximum candidature with the exception of full-term leave and internship leave.
