SimuWorld is proposed as an AI Agent competition and simulation platform for DeFi strategy and economic security. The first edition should not attempt to cover the entire DeFi ecosystem. Instead, it should focus on a limited number of representative, leading protocols and center around two core categories of real-world problems: Autonomous DeFi Strategy Agents and DeFi Protocol Risk & Economic Security Agents. All official submissions must be delivered in the form of continuously operable AI Agents. All protocol simulations, market stress tests, risk parameter experiments, and adversarial scenario validations must be conducted through HoloBit as the standardized simulation infrastructure.

The initiative is to build a reusable network of Metacases — end-to-end representations of problem-solving, decision episodes, or task completion, linking the original context and raw evidence to the approaches considered, prior human or institutional practices, reasoning, candidate strategies, actions taken, subsequent outcomes, interpretations, and lessons learned.

The goal is to let AI systems, as well as humans, retrieve and reason over not just similar facts, but similar problem-solving and decision structures, so they can learn how problems were previously understood, solved, and refined. MetacaseNet can therefore serve as a foundation for experience-based AI in economics, finance, healthcare, policy, law, and other social science and business domains.

APORS (Association of Asia-Pacific Operational Research Societies) is a regional grouping within the International Federation of Operational Research Societies (IFORS). Its mission is to promote Operations Research (OR) as a highly valued discipline and respecte profession throughout the Asia-Pacific region. APORS facilitates collaboration, knowledge exchange, and networking among OR societies in the region, while strengthening connections with the global OR community through IFORS. Previous APORS Youth Forums took place in Hangzhou (2024) and Hong Kong (2025).

Building on this initiative, the Operational Research Society of Singapore (ORSS) is pleased to host the APORS Youth Forum 2026 in Singapore. The forum aims to foster academic exchange, encourage regional collaboration, and support the professional development of emerging researchers in Operations Research and related fields.

Young OR researchers, including postdoctoral fellows and PhD students, are cordially invited to present their ongoing or recently completed research. The Forum will provide a vibrant environment for scholarly discussion, networking, and the exchange of innovative ideas among the next generation of Operations Research researchers in the Asia-Pacific region.

The JOIM Singapore Conference showcases academic excellence with practical solution and direction for the profession. The conference is co-organized by the Journal of Investment Management (JOIM), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the University of California, Berkeley. It brings together academic researchers, industry practitioners, and regulators in a structured dialogue format: academic speakers present research papers followed by industry discussants, and industry and agency participants lead dedicated panel sessions. CBER-Tokenomics 2026, the 7th International Conference on Blockchain Economics, Security and Protocols, is a leading interdisciplinary forum focusing on the theory, design, analysis, implementation, and applications of blockchain economics, decentralized systems, and digital platforms. The conference brings together economists, computer scientists, finance researchers, and industry practitioners working at the frontier of digital assets and emerging technologies. Original interdisciplinary research connecting economic incentives and market design with distributed systems, networks, and system security is particularly encouraged.
Relevant topics include token and protocol design, decentralized finance, stablecoins and digital payments, DAOs and decentralized governance, tokenized real-world assets, prediction markets, AI agents and decentralized AI, as well as economic world models and applications of large language models to macroeconomic, financial, and economy-wide modelling. People living in the same economy often have very different views about inflation. Where do these differences come from, and what are their economic consequences? Drawing on household surveys and information experiments across countries, this lecture examines how everyday price experiences, memories, and sources of information shape expectations about future inflation. It then considers how these expectations influence spending and saving, with implications for the transmission of monetary policy. Particular attention is given to why the same information can affect people differently, depending on their prior beliefs, their attention to economic developments, and their trust in the source. These differences help explain both the potential and the limits of central bank communication. The lecture concludes by discussing how central banks can reach households beyond the usual audience of financial markets and professional forecasters, and how the effectiveness of their communication changes between periods of low and high inflation.
