Digital technologies are rapidly transforming economies and societies, bringing new opportunities while also introducing complex trust challenges. As AI systems and autonomous digital actors become more prevalent, ensuring that these technologies are secure, accountable, and privacy-preserving is increasingly critical.
The Third International Symposium on Digital Trust, hosted by the Digital Trust Centre (DTC) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, brings together leading researchers, industry practitioners, and policymakers to discuss emerging challenges and research directions for building trustworthy digital systems.
Building on the success of previous editions, the 2026 symposium will focus on key areas including AI safety, trustworthy AI/ML, agentic AI security, privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs), and trusted decentralised applications.
The symposium aims to advance digital trust technologies, strengthen collaboration between academia and industry, and support the development of secure and trustworthy digital ecosystems.
