AI–Quantum Cyber Risk Study Trip Explores Digital Trust and Resilience in Europe

The Mastercard–NTU Digital Futures Initiative (DigFI), in collaboration with the Digital Trust Centre (DTC), recently organised the exclusive AI–Quantum Cyber Risk Study Trip: Navigating the Cyberstorm – Trust and Resilience in the AI-Quantum Age, held from 12–18 April 2026 across the Netherlands and Belgium.

Designed for Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), senior industry leaders, and selected participants from academia and industry, the programme provided a platform for strategic discussions on digital trust, resilience, AI governance, and emerging technologies in the evolving AI–quantum landscape.

As part of the programme, participants visited leading organisations and institutions including Hague Security Delta (HSD), the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB), the Mastercard European Cyber Resilience Centre, Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI), Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), and other research and innovation hubs across Amsterdam, The Hague, and Brussels.

The itinerary featured expert briefings, institutional engagements, and closed-door discussions with international stakeholders, offering participants insights into global perspectives and approaches to digital trust, resilience, and responsible innovation.

The study trip also provided valuable opportunities for high-level networking and professional exchange among CISOs, researchers, industry representatives, and international counterparts, supporting continued dialogue and collaboration across sectors.
