DTC TrustTech Innovation Symposium

The symposium brought together partners from research, industry and government sectors for a full day of presentations, live demonstrations, and discussions on advancing digital trust and TrustTech innovation

Executive Director of the Digital Trust Centre Singapore (DTC), Prof Lam Kwok Yan, opened the event by highlighting the importance of responsible AI, strong governance, and privacy-enhancing technologies in strengthening national digital resilience. He also reaffirmed DTC’s mission to drive trustworthy innovation through research and close industry collaboration.

The programme featured two research highlight segments. Part 1, themed Responsible, Trustworthy and Safe AI, covered machine unlearning, agentic AI safety testing, 3D generation-resistant watermarking for copyright protection, and LLM obfuscation using decoy queries to improve privacy.

Part 2 focused on Privacy-Preserving Technologies, showcased privacy-preserving bandwidth optimisation for satellite IoT, advancements in fully homomorphic encryption, privacy-preserving digital wallet balance verification, and secure subgraph matching techniques for detecting suspicious activity.
