此次参访受到华裔馆的高度重视。华裔馆馆长游俊豪教授因公务出国未能亲自接待，在华裔馆工作人员的陪同下，吴主席参观了王赓武图书馆及华裔馆的两个常设展览。

Ms Goh was initially welcomed by Cui Shaolong, a versatile youth leader from the Nanyang Youth Network Programme at CHC, who delivered a welcome speech.,CHC’s Nanyang Youth Network Programme aims to encourage the younger generation to actively participate in cultural heritage promotion activities, including those related to various ethnicities, including the Chinese.

首先华裔馆特意安排了小天使代表崔绍隆发表了欢迎辞。华裔馆小天使计划旨在鼓励年轻一代积极参与包括华族在内的多元种族文化遗产推广活动。崔绍隆小朋友的精心准备和颇为专业的开场，为参访增添了轻松愉快的气氛。

After that, Ms Goh  visited  Wang Gungwu Library and gained an overview of the academic publications published by CHC.

接下来，吴主席参观了王赓武图书馆，了解了图书馆的丰富馆藏，并听取了华裔馆学术研究和出版情况的介绍。

Guided by our Ph.D student Zhu Xuelian, Ms Goh visited CHC’s exhibitions―"Nanyang University Pictorial Exhibition" and "Chinese More or Less Exhibition".  She was introduced to the history of Nanyang University, as well as the identity issues faced by overseas Chinese in different regions and eras.
