Chinese Migration in Comparative Perspectives: Adaptation and Development

The Centre for Chinese Language and Culture, in collaboration with the Chinese Heritage Centre, hosted an international conference on "Chinese Migration in Comparative Perspectives: Adaptation and Development" from 26 to 27 October 2007. The conference featured 19 local and overseas speakers who spoke on the development of Chinese migration in Euro-American, Pacific, East Asian and Southeast Asian regions.

A collection of the papers presented at the conference were sent for peer review and published as English and Chinese monographs respectively.
