Congratulations to ASE PhD student Yap Wenshu, winner ofthe 2020 NTU Womenin Engineering, Science and Technology Conference Grant! The grant aims tofacilitate networking opportunities for young women engineers and scientist toembark on their carreers. Female PhD students in their fourth year of study areeligable to apply.

Wenshu's research topic focuses on using moleculartechnique to investigate geological record of past coastal hazard events. Sheaims to develop a robust approach that will improve our ability to efficientlyand accurately identify sediments deposits of storm and tsunami events thatoccured thousands of years ago.
