New National Sea Level Program launched by Centre for Climate Research in anticipation of future sea level rise
According to Channel News Asia, The Centre for Climate Research Singapore, a research division of the Meteorological Service Singapore, is launching a National Sea Level Programme to improve knowledge on how rising sea levels will affect Singapore. The program will bring together researcher from the centre, local universities and international experts on sea level rise to provide better forecasts and robust plans in anticipation of the effects global warming.
