Zhong Lidan, Linda

Associate Professor Linda Zhong graduated from Shanghai University of TCM and obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degree. She then obtained her Ph.D in clinical research in Chinese Medicine at the University of Hong Kong Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine. She served as a post-doctoral fellow at Hong Kong Baptist University. She was instructed by renowned Chinese Medicine expert Prof. Chen Xiang Jun and has more than 20 years of clinical experience, particularly in treating rheumatological diseases, such as systematic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Sjögren's syndrome, Dermatomyositis/Polymyositis, etc., gynaecological disorders, such as irregular menstruation, infertility, menopausal symptoms, etc., and digestive disorders, such as functional dyspepsia, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, and others.

​Tan Siew Buoy, Consultant Physician

PhD (TCM Gynecology)

Registered TCM physician/acupuncturist

Graduated with a PhD in Gynaecology from China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has over 30 years of clinical experience in TCM internal medicine, acupuncture and gynaecology. Her area of expertise is in gynaecology, especially in the treatment of infertility. She has helped numerous couples conceive successfully. In 2008 received an award from China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine for contributing to the progression of TCM technology.

Wang Xiao Lan, Consultant Physician

Registered TCM physician/acupuncturist

She was previously appointed as Associate Professor of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. Her areas of expertise include acupuncture, internal medicine, gynaecology, pediatrics, orthopedics and traumatology, with special emphasis on mental health disorders and a variety of acute and chronic pain. She has over 30 years of clinical and teaching experience.

​Yong Choon Lian, Consultant Physician

PhD (Practical Clinical Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine) 

Registered TCM physician/acupuncturist

Graduated from NTU/NIE, Beijing Normal University and Fujian University of TCM, Dr Yong has a Masters in TCM immunology, and a PhD in Practical Clinical Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, with a focus on geriatrics. He conducted research on tumours of the gastrointestinal tract in Fujian Department of Science & Technology. His clinical mentor was national TCM geriatrics expert Prof Du Jian. He also studied acupuncture under Prof Liu Kong Teng of Xiamen University and famous veteran TCM physician Prof Huang Zong Xu. Dr Yong has over 40 years of clinical and teaching experience, with areas of expertise in geriatrics, oncology and pain management. He served as the 1st Vice-President of Academy of Chinese Medicine, senior clinical mentor of Graduate Diploma in Acupuncture (For Medical Doctors and Dentists) as well as examiner for the Singapore TCM Registration Exam. He is currently a member of the TCM Educational Institution Evaluation committee, the TCM Registration Examination Syllabus committee, and the Continuous Professional Education committee, under the Singapore TCM Practitioners Board.

Zhao Yan, Consultant Physician

PhD (TCM Internal Medicine) 

Zhao Yan Registered TCM physician; Senior Lecturer

She graduated from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine in 1997 and completed her Master’s degree in Gynecology thereafter. In year 2000, she completed her PhD in internal medicine with Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. She has experience in TCM treatment of gynecological ailments, diabetes, mood disorders and kidney ailments. She has participated in several clinical research projects on topics such as endometriosis, the prevention and treatment of diabetes, etc. Her research in diabetes was awarded the Beijing Technological Progress award. After joining Nanyang Technological University, she established an independent laboratory to guide students in the research of natural products on diabetes, neurological, gynecological ailments as well as the treatment of cancer and its mechanism. She has published more than 10 papers on the international journal PNAS.

Ong Poh Hong, Consultant Physician

Registered TCM physician/acupuncturist;

He graduated with a PhD in Acupuncture and Moxibustion from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine in 1999. His areas of expertise include Dermatology, acupuncture and internal medicine. Dr Ong has over 30 years of clinical teaching experience. He is the executive director of the World federation of Chinese Medicine in Dermatology.

Lau Kah Yong, Consultant Physician

He graduated with a PhD in Acupuncture from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine. Dr Lau has over 20 years of clinical teaching experience and has published more than 30 articles. His areas of expertise include acupuncture treatment for Brain-related diseases (Autism, Mental disorders), Stroke rehabilitation and Pain management.

Sean Lee, Senior Physician

Registered Chinese Medicine Physician;

He graduated with a double degree in Biomedical Sciences (Nanyang Technological University) and Traditional Chinese Medicine (Beijing University of Chinese Medicine). His areas of expertise include tuina/sport injuries, geriatric conditions and stroke management.

Joyce Chee, Lead Physician

PhD (TCM Acupuncture) 

Registered Chinese Medicine Physician;

She graduated with a double degree in Biomedical Sciences (Nanyang Technological University) and Traditional Chinese Medicine (Beijing University of Chinese Medicine). After which, she obtained her PhD in Acupuncture from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine. Her areas of expertise include neurological conditions (esp. migraine), metabolic conditions (e.g. weight management), as well as gynaecological condition (such as menopausal conditions).

Steven Loh, Senior Physician

PhD (TCM Clinical Medicine)

Registered TCM physician/acupuncturist (Singapore), Registered doctor (Chinese Medicine) in China, adjunct doctor at XianCi Chinese Medicine Nephrology Hospital.

Dr Loh obtained his Doctorate in Clinical Medicine from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine. He has years of experience in TCM lecturing, clinical mentoring and has published research articles and co-authored health related books. His clinical interest and experience include: Coronary Heart Diseases, Geriatrics, Stroke Recovery and Aftercare, Renal Disorder, Sports Injuries, Pain Management, Hyperhidrosis, Insomnia. Member of Singapore ​​Chinese Physicians’ Association.​
