Dear colleagues and students,

We are excited to invite you to the seventh webinar hosted by the Graduate Student Club at the School of Social Sciences, NTU Singapore. With the generous support from NTU’s Student Affairs Office, the event promises to be a thought-provoking sharing of “Islam, modernity and Muslim Identities in Asia” with our speaker, Ms. Iulia Lumina. Ms. Iulia Lumina is the editor of The Politics of Muslim Societies in Asia (Edinburgh University Press, 2021), a volume that draws on her previous work as a Research Analyst at RSIS, NTU. She also has an anthropology and politics (SOAS) background and is pursuing an MPA at UCL Institute of Innovation and Public Value (IIPP). She is part of a research project on non-Western governance paradigms and Islamic public value there.
