About Us

SPC overview

​Singapore Phenome Centre (SPC), a unit of the NTU Integrated Medical, Biological and Environmental Life Sciences (NIMBELS) cluster and member of National Phenome Network aims to deliver world-class metabolic phenotyping services to the NTU's scientific community, Singapore's researchers and industries in Singapore and beyond. 


Officially launched in 2015, SPC is a unique Interdisciplinary Research Platform established to enhance research capability and explore new synergy for the NIMBELS cluster. SPC is co-funded by NTU, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, the School of Biological Sciences (SBS), and the Singapore Centre on Environmental Life Sciences Engineering (SCELSE) in association with the National Phenome Centre, at Imperial College London and Waters Corporation. The centre is headed by Professor Wang Yulan who is the Director of SPC. 

SPC aims to deliver excellent competency in metabolic phenotyping research in association with local and international research institutions, hospitals and industry.
