Rock imager is an automated imaging system designed for protein crystallization screening. Images of each individual drop is captured according to a pre-determined schedule. Crystal growth can be monitored overtime to determine the best crystallization condition. Besides the normal visible light used to image the drops, UV light is also available to allow differentiation between salt and protein crystals.

- Compatible plate type (capacity): SBS (970), microbatch (970) and LCP thin glass (1500)
- Imaging options: Dual light path (visible light and UV)
- Peltier cooling: regulate temperature to +/-0.5°C with a range of 5°C below or 7°C room temperature
