The Master of Science in Finance prepares students for successful careers in the global finance industry. With a focus on the Asia-Pacific region, it delivers rigorous training and international exposure to excel in global financial markets.

  

The MSc Finance programme at Nanyang Business School offers an intensive one-year, full-time programme that gives students unparalleled access to tools and resources that will allow them to expand their perspectives and reshape how they see the world of finance. Our students will also have an opportunity to explore emerging fields such as fintech and sustainability and get insights from industry leaders through our local and overseas Student Industry Field Trips (SIFT) which provides them a first-hand look into the titans of our financial world. 
Applicants who wish to apply to the MSc Finance programme are required to meet the minimum admission requirements below:

  • A good bachelor’s degree from any discipline
  • GMAT or GRE score is optional
  • TOEFL/IELTS score, if English was not the medium of instruction at the undergraduate level
  • Work experience is not required

The following are minimum admission requirements. Meeting these criteria does not guarantee admission, as selection is competitive.

The MSc Finance programme is a full-time programme that can be completed in one year. Students will select between two elective tracks – Fintech and Sustainability – in Trimester 3.

An optional internship is available to participants who wish to gain real-world work experience. The internship will take place from July to December after the completion of all the courses in Trimester 3.
The MSc Finance is a one-year full-time programme across three trimesters. Classes commence in August and will be completed in May the following year. Students will select between two elective tracks – Fintech and Sustainability – in Trimester 3.

The MSc Finance programme prepares our students for the deep and diverse global economy. Throughout the year, many top companies engage with students directly and actively recruit from NBS postgraduate students. In recent years, many leading companies such as CICC, CITIC Securities, Alibaba, Baidu, Tencent, JD.com and Ping An Group have hired MSc Finance graduates.
