The development of green and practical methods for the construction of molecules has always been a goal of organic chemists. Although the field of organic synthesis has contributed substantially to our society by providing new cures, algroproducts, functional materials, etc., many of the chemical processes utilised to make these products are environmentally unfriendly. We have been interested in the development of green and sustainable chemical processes. In this presentation, I will detail our contributions and 28-year journey in this area of research.
