SEP Teams (Current)

SCSE Innovation Lab currently supports 21 SEP Teams.

Team SGBot is founded in 2017 under Innovation Lab, School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU). The team members are students from SCSE and School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE). 

The team's mission is to research and develop Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) robots for international robotics competition. With state-of-the-art machine learning technology, SGBot is trying to build an artificial intelligence system for the unmanned ground vehicle to travel through complex disaster environment and conduct common search and rescue mission autonomously. 

​SGBot is a participant of RoboCup Rescue Robot League Competition (https://www.robocup.org/) to put the robot in real world test.

Team XR Experience - participated in DSTA Brain Hack, and (various other competitions), build a VR application that showcases the interactivity of virtual reality in various use cases, based on the competition scope.

Questee - Earn While You Learn, A Student Job Exchange Platform.  A sophisticated iOS/Android app designed for students and faculty members within the campus community.

Revente - Transforming Receipt Waste into Market Intelligence.  This project aims to eliminate receipt waste by digitising the process of distributing receipts for retailers with NFC technology.  Digitising receipts presents an opportunity for retailers to tap into receipt data, giving valuable insights for retailers.

Beagle - Lowers Entry Barriers to Financial Markets for Retail Investors.  It provides accessible and easily comprehensible market data to a diverse group of financial market participants with a primary focus on retail investors.

NurseLink – Mobile Platform to Connect Freelance Nurses with Individuals in Need of Timely and Reliable Care.  The project aims to solve the lack of immediate care options for elderly individuals when unexpected situations arise.

dA.I.ly: The Personal AI Assistant tailored to optimize and enrich daily life activities, specifically focusing on the efficient management of personal schedules, wardrobe organization, and automating daily workflows such as appointment scheduling.

Advanced Inventory Management System focuses on creating an advanced inventory management system tailored to address the unique challenges associated with managing loose items, alongside offering robust inventory forecasting capabilities.

Signify: Project aims to address the deaf community's significant communication barrier by creating a mobile application specifically intended to teach sign language efficiently.  It also hopes to address the lack of accessible and engaging resources for learning sign language, which leads to limited communication options and social isolation for individuals in this group.

yaR:  It seeks to empower visually impaired individuals by providing them with a tool that enhances their environmental perception, boosting their confidence and promoting a sense of autonomy in their daily lives.

Jouzu: It is a proprietary LLM-based language teacher which corrects conversation mistakes in real time, and can be further improved using the data collected.

Selltzer: The project integrates AI/ML tooling into a suite of tools to provide businesses with ample opportunity to automate many aspects of the above business functions such as product listing, inventory, etc.

TicketAuth: The project focuses on addressing the significant challenges within the ticketing industry, including rampant fraud, scalping, and a lack of engagement between artists and fans post-event.
