The Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering with Second Major in Society & Urban Systems programme is jointly offered between the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
The programme provides Civil Engineering students with socio-economic and environmental perspectives, integrating them with core engineering skills related to infrastructure development and urban solutions. Students will gain knowledge in the social science aspects of urban systems planning and policy-making while maintaining a strong foundation in engineering.
At NTU-CEE, you will be equipped with socio-economic and environmental perspectives to shape sustainable urban environments and pursue impactful careers in urban planning and development.

Students with outstanding ‘A’ Level, IB, NUS High School Diploma, or Polytechnic Diploma results may qualify for exemptions from selected first-year courses (up to three for pre-university qualifications).
The Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental Engineering) with Second Major in Society & Urban Systems is a four-year, full-time direct honours programme.
In addition to the Core Programme Requirements, students must fulfil a minimum total of 30 AUs, comprising 4 Core Foundation Core Modules (12 AUs) and Specialised Elective Courses (18 AUs).
