When I took the Web Application Design class, I was able to learn new skills - very different from the skills I acquired from the "traditional" EEE classes. The class provided me with the opportunity to approach website design from a user's standpoint, ensuring both cohesion and functionality. Overall, the class was beneficial in integrating the realms of business, technology, and design.


Robotics and Automation (Major Prescribed Elective)

FUNDAMENTAL CONCEPTS IN ROBOTICS
• Model a robot manipulator with multiple degrees of freedom, plan a task for the robot to perform, design and analyse robot controllers to execute the task

Picture this course as coaching a robot, akin to training a pet with tricks. By learning how to make machines execute tasks automatically, I've grasped the art of crafting intelligent robots. Throughout the course, I was able to hone my teamwork, critical thinking, creativity and communication skills. The gains from this course are immense. It has empowered me to tackle intricate problems, collaborate effectively in teams, and unleash my creativity. I enjoyed seeing my concepts turn into real robots! These lessons are my toolkit for an engineering career - be it designing groundbreaking technologies or thriving in team environments. This course is the compass guiding me towards success.
