Dr. Raphael Yahalom
About the Speaker
Dr Raphael (Rafi) Yahalom is a Research Affiliate at MIT Sloan School of Management specialising in cyber-security, risk prioritisation, and cyber resilience. He co-founded Onaro, a data-infrastructure company acquired by NetApp for USD 125M, and is internationally recognised for the Yahalom Protocol and GNY Logic. He has authored numerous publications and patents, advised organisations including Citigroup, and served on programme committees of ACM CCS and IEEE S&P. Dr Yahalom holds a PhD in Computer Science from Cambridge University and a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Technion.
Description
The increasing prevalence of AI agents introduces many new benefits but also new forms of risks. Dr. Yahalom’s ongoing work focuses specifically on identity management for AI agents and the significant new challenges and opportunities which these present. In this talk, he will provide a survey of ongoing research and innovation directions related to AI agents identity security, demonstrate the significance by analyzing some recent incidents, and outline promising directions forward.
