About the Speaker
Professor Hung-Min Sun received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Chiao Tung University in 1995. He is currently a Full Professor in the Department of Computer Science at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. With over 200 publications in international journals and conferences, he has held key roles in the academic community, including General Co-chair of ACM AsiaCCS 2020 and Program Chair of IEEE PRDC 2018. He serves as Associate Editor for journals such as IEEE Transactions on Reliability and has received multiple Best Paper Awards. His recognitions include the Y. Z. Hsu Scientific Paper Award (2010) and Outstanding Professor in Electrical Engineering by the Chinese Institute of Electrical Engineering (2014). He is currently Chairman of the Chinese Cryptology and Information Security Association. His research interests include network security, deep learning, cryptography, blockchain, and automated trading systems.
Description
This talk presents a hybrid deep learning framework for detecting multiple smart contract vulnerabilities, combining SecBERT, BiLSTM, attention mechanisms, and expert-crafted features. Tested on real-world datasets, it achieves over 85% F1-scores across seven vulnerability categories, offering a robust solution to strengthen blockchain security.
