Talk Title: Ramp Hyper-Invertible Matrix and Perfectly Secure MPC
Speaker: Prof Xing Chaoping, Shanghai Jiao Tong University

About the Speaker:
Prof Xing Chaoping is a Chair Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has held academic positions in China, Germany, Austria, and Singapore, including appointments at NUS and NTU. His research focuses on cryptography, coding theory, secure multi-party computation, and algebraic number theory.

Description:
This talk introduces the ramp hyper-invertible matrix, a generalisation of hyper-invertible matrices that enables perfectly secure multi-party computation (MPC) over constant-size fields. It presents the first protocol capable of tolerating up to n/3 malicious corruptions with constant communication complexity.
