AI&CS training Camp series

The AI & Cybersecurity Innovation Camp Series is delivered by NTU professors and researchers from the Cyber Security Research Centre @ NTU (CYSREN). This highly focused program offers a professional academic experience, aiming to introduce foundational knowledge in cybersecurity and software security, spark students' interest in the field of information security, and provide an immersive experience in NTU’s academic environment and teaching model.

Participants will receive an official invitation letter from the hosting department at NTU and, upon completion, will be issued a graded evaluation report and an official certificate jointly recognized by the organizing departments.

This course is designed to broaden students’ academic and global horizons, deepen their understanding of disciplinary knowledge and the cybersecurity industry, and empower them to explore new opportunities. It also aims to develop students’ intercultural communication abilities, innovative thinking, scientific inquiry skills, and capacity for integrated, critical reflection.

Cyber Security Research Centre @ NTU (CYSREN)

The Cyber Security Research Centre at Nanyang Technological University (CYSREN) leverages NTU’s core strengths in engineering, precision sciences, international studies, and business to address cybersecurity challenges in the age of automation and big data through multidisciplinary research and development. CYSREN collaborates closely with local and global institutions and industry partners, focusing on areas such as AI security and its applications in cybersecurity, software supply chain security, automotive information security, predictive safety for autonomous vehicles, cyber risk management and threat intelligence, security-by-design, the dark web and cryptocurrencies, and the security of healthcare devices and systems.

CYSREN has undertaken major research programs funded by Singapore's National Research Foundation (NRF) and the Cyber Security Agency (CSA), with a cumulative total of SGD 100 million, focusing on fundamental challenges in cybersecurity. The center has also collaborated with various enterprises on research and development, resulting in dozens of technical patents, further leading to technology transfer and commercialization. Supported by related projects, the center has incubated three high-tech companies specializing in software security, Web3 security, and automotive security, with total funding exceeding USD 100 million. In terms of research output, CYSREN has published over 600 papers in top international conferences and journals, ranking first globally in the field of software engineering, and has received more than 30 best paper awards in top security and software engineering conferences. In talent development, the center has graduated over 50 PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, who are now spread across the globe, including in Singapore, China, the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Germany.

Program Schedule

This course will be scheduled during the winter and summer vacation every year, 
each session will be conducted for one week. The specific dates will be announced in due course. 

This course offers an engaging blend of classroom lectures, interactive group discussions,
hands-on experiments, and guided laboratory visits.

Course Fees

The course fees is SGD4,000 (with GST) 

Included in the Fee:

  • Tuition: Includes university course fees, instructor fees, campus visit fees, and activity venue costs.
  • Services: Includes fees for accompanying faculty or guide services.
  • Transportation: Covers to and from the hotel and course venue.
  • Airport Transfers: One scheduled airport pickup and drop-off in Singapore.
  • Insurance: Overseas travel accident insurance.
  • Accommodation: Students will stay in twin rooms at locally rated 4-star hotels in Singapore, booked uniformly by the organizer.
  • Meals: Breakfast will be provided at the hotel. The program also includes 4 dinners and 2 lunches, with a meal budget of SGD 20 per person per meal.
  • Attraction Ticket: Includes admission to Universal Studios Singapore.

 
Not Included:

  • Transportation: Round-trip air travel expenses from the student's location to the program site.
  • Passport: Passport application fees.
  • Meals: Any meals not explicitly included in the itinerary or any personal expenses.
  • Additional Costs: Any expenses incurred beyond those included in the program fee.
