Digitalization&Integrated Digital Delivery Sharing

On the afternoon of July 21st, China Construction (South Pacific) presented a virtual lecture themed “Digitalization & Integrated Digital Delivery,” which also doubled as an online exchange event between the company and Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

A total of 55 undergraduate and graduate students from the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering of NTU as well as new employees from China Construction (South Pacific) who graduated in the past few years participated in this event.

Tan Hwee Woon, Director of China Construction (South Pacific) Human Resource department, delivered a speech at the event. She expressed that the company is committed to providing a broad career development for graduates. She hopes that the students can gain a deeper understanding of China Construction (South Pacific), and she also welcomes the students to join the company after their graduation.

This event marks the third consecutive year of this mutually organized event, Robert Tiong, associate professor at NTU, thanked China Construction (South Pacific) for its contribution in setting up this virtual event annually, and expressed his hope for more collaboration with the company in the future to continually providing valuable opportunities for students to understand the real-life construction process.

During this seminar, Rob Sanchez, Senior Manager of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) team of China Construction (South Pacific), presented a lecture to the student on the topic of Connected Construction through Digitalization and Integrated Digital Delivery. Sanchez shared how the company has embraced IDD in its daily operation and how IDD was implemented in many construction projects.  This seminar was hosted by Sheng Yu Kun, the head of China Construction (South Pacific)’s Engineering Technology Department.
