Minor in International Trading
International Trading is offered as a minor programme by the Centre of Excellence International Trading (CEIT) to all students at Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
Interested students from other colleges in NBS and NTU may also apply via email to ceit-itp@ntu.edu.sg.
The Minor in International Trading programme aims to nurture a specialised, global-ready workforce equipped with business acumen and technical knowledge for the commodity trading sector. Upon graduation, you can look forward to a wide spectrum of exciting, rewarding career opportunities in the lucrative commodity trading sector and value chain.

Curriculum
Digital Track Option (From AY2026)
Build the digital edge for global commodities and trading
Students can choose the Digital Application Track and earn a certificate of completion while developing practical skills in data analytics and digital applications. Driven by Enterprise Singapore and the Centre for Excellence in International Trading (CEIT), the track connects classroom learning with real-world industry perspectives. The digital application track curriculum is designed alongside industry partners, namely Anglo American, Aramco, Barry Callebaut, JERA Global Markets, Vortexa, and Zema.
The modules are specially designed to equip students with data analytics and digital skills, aligning with national efforts to strengthen Singapore’s position as a global commodities and trading hub, as highlighted by the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

The award of minor will be reflected in a graduate’s transcript but not his degree certificate. No additional certificate will be issued.
