The 2019 Korean Geotechnical Society (KGS) Awards Lecture was presented to Prof Harianto Rahardjo on 14 March 2019, in recognition of his pioneering works and leadership in the areas of the behavior of unsaturated tropical residual soils, the effect of flux boundary conditions on geotechnical structures and rainfall-induced landslides.
