Today, ExxonMobil is working to develop the next generation of energy solutions, including carbon capture and storage; low carbon hydrogen; and new energy efficiency processes. Engineering and science disciplines are critical to reducing emissions while enabling continued expansion of the global economy. In addition to our robust in-house capabilities, we collaborate with leading research and technology companies, national labs, universities, and others as we continue to develop breakthrough energy research.

About the Speaker

Dr. Saifudin Abubakar is currently the Corporate Lab Director at ExxonMobil Technology and Engineering Company. He joined ExxonMobil Chemical in 2007. With over a decade of experience at ExxonMobil Chemical, he showcased his expertise in Research and Technology across global locations, including Singapore, Baytown, and Shanghai. Prior to these research roles, he had also served as the Strategic Portfolio Manager. Dr. Abubakar's contributions include over 50 patents in the fields of polymer and chemical, highlighting his significant impact on both scientific advancement and industrial innovation.
