ARISE Recognised at Lions Befrienders Appreciation & Awards 2026

ARISE was honoured to be among the community partners recognised at the Lions Befrienders (LB) Appreciation & Awards 2026 on 9 October. The evening was graced by Guest of Honour Mr David Neo, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth. Ms H. Falina, Senior Assistant Director, and Mr Chia Bing Xun (Chris), Research Associate, received the Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of ARISE.
This recognition acknowledges our efforts to translate research into practice. The Health Coaching training programme equips volunteers, members of the workforce and older adults with knowledge and skills in behaviour change to support healthy ageing, while the International-Singapore Intergenerational Games (I-SING) exergaming programme helps older adults remain active, socially connected and healthy as they age.
We are grateful to LB for this partnership and look forward to continuing our collaboration to promote healthy longevity among older adults in our community.
