AY2025 TIP Cohort Celebrates New Beginnings at End-of-Course Dinner

From Learning to New Beginnings

The evening commenced with welcoming remarks by Dr Xia Zhiqiang, Deputy Director (Academic Learning), NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur). Dr Xia encouraged students to continue their pursuit of learning beyond the programme and remain grounded as they work towards their future aspirations.

Leaders from NTU and NTUpreneur community congratulated the AY2025 cohorts, sharing words of encouragement, as they celebrated this significant milestone.

In his keynote address, Guest-of-Honour Professor Louis Phee, Vice President (Innovation & Entrepreneurship), highlighted the opportunities available within NTU's growing Innovation and Entrepreneurship ecosystem, which continues to support founders, innovators, and changemakers.

At the heart of his message was a reminder that entrepreneurship is about creating meaningful impact through collaboration, courage, and action.

Ms Susan Teh, President of the NTUpreneur Alumni Association (AA), welcomed the graduating cohort into the wider alumni community and encouraged them to remain connected through alumni activities and future collaborations.

Mr Th'ng Beng Hooi, Director of NTU's Office of Alumni Engagement, reinforced the importance of lifelong connections and highlighted many opportunities for graduates to remain engaged with the NTU community.

Looking Back, Moving Forward

The photo montage, "Final Assignment: Celebrate”, brought participants on a nostalgic journey through memorable moments from the AY2025 experience.

From classroom discussions and startup projects to networking sessions, overseas experiences, and friendships formed along the way, the montage captured the moments that defined the cohort's journey. Laughter and applause filled the ballroom as students revisited cherished memories and reflected on their personal and professional growth.

Speaking on behalf of the MSc TIP cohort, Anany Shakti Singh reflected on how the programme challenged students to embrace uncertainty, take initiative, and step beyond their comfort zones. He shared how these experiences helped build confidence and resilience, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Representing the FM TIP cohort, Teo Chwee Leng reflected on the challenges of balancing work, personal commitments, and lifelong learning. Drawing from her background in finance, she described the experience as a process of "compounding growth", where small but consistent investments in curiosity, courage, and learning gradually transformed perspectives and created lasting impact over time.

Chwee Leng, together with other proud FM TIP graduates, received their certificates from Professor Louis Phee during the certification ceremony.

Beyond the formal programme, guests enjoyed performances, lucky draws, and opportunities to reconnect and strengthen friendships. 

From taiko drumming and dance to live vocals and lucky draws, the evening celebrated the AY2025 cohort in true TIP spirit - with energy, community, and plenty of heart.

As the AY2025 cohort embarks on the next chapter of their journeys, the lessons learned, friendships forged, and experiences shared throughout the programme will continue to shape their paths long after graduation. We wish them every success in their future endeavours.
