About Us

More about us
The NTU Center of High Field NMR Spectroscopy and Imaging hosts two state-of-the-art high-field solid-state NMR spectrometers for biology, chemistry, material science and medicine research. Our research staff can perform advanced NMR acquisition and analysis for academic and commercial partners, while also offering solid state NMR and solution state NMR training for NTU staffs and students.

Research Capabilities

More on our research
The Centre for High Field NMR Spectroscopy and Imaging performs collaborative research over a wide array of research areas, covering the varying research interests of the multiple schools at NTU. As the only high-field NMR facility with capabilities of solid state NMR, solution state NMR and MRI at NTU, our main research focus is the characterization of systems in the fields of biology, material sciences, medicine and chemistry.

Equipment

The NTU Center of High Field NMR Spectroscopy and Imaging boasts two Bruker NMR spectrometers capable of solid and solution state NMR, and MRI. A wide range of Bruker probes facilitate high speed MAS NMR, low gamma MAS NMR, variable temperature MAS NMR, cryo-enhanced solution NMR and micro-imaging experiments.
