​With organisations actively venturing into the digital and cyber space, cyber risks have become a reality for all. Cyber-attacks are no longer new to organisations, with reports surfacing often, affecting large multi-national organisations, government bodies and the majority of small and medium enterprises. The message is clear: no one is spared. Although the awareness of cyber threats has been increasing, many still remain vulnerable to these attacks.

Though Insurers have been pushing to provide cyber coverage, cyber liability remains an extremely complex problem that they cannot manage alone. There is a need to be actively partnering public and international bodies that have long been tackling cyber issues. There ​also remains a huge aspect of cyber risks that Insurers have yet to fully understand. Cyber Criminals remain ahead in this cat and mouse game against the defenders, and the list of threats will only grow. How can Insurers protect themselves and at the same time provide a safety net for their clients? This is a dynamic role that Insurers must now embrace and juggle.

This 2nd Asia Cyber Risk Summit is aimed at keeping the industry apprised of the latest developments in cyber space, trending threats and how to deal with these threats while responding to the growing demand for cyber protection.
