About the Seminar:
In a world where capitalism is largely the economic system of choice, the social mission is often overlooked in the pursuit of commercial success. Yet, there is a growing minority of social entrepreneurs who are focused on solving some of the world’s biggest problems. This session will introduce attendees to the difference between enterprises and social enterprises, how to achieve social impact alongside sustainable financial return through frontier edge innovations, and an honest examination of what it takes to venture for good.

About the Speaker:
Mrs Monica de-Silva Lim started her career in banking and HR but discovered a passion for working with children and parents when she crossed over to education in 1998. She began in a social enterprise, moving on to a government-linked joint venture and then to one of the largest multinational education organisations in the world. She now runs Rosebrook Developmental Centre, a fully inclusive community with a cutting-edge, frontier, fully integrated programme called Heartworks in Motion©.
