About the seminar:
During the hectic period of exams and midterms, feeling overwhelmed is common. This is especially the case when you are battling yourself to push away stress and keep calm. This seminar aims to help you understand and recognise the signs and symptoms of stress and learn ways to manage and cope with stressors during your academic journey. There will also be an interactive segment for students to experience techniques on “breathing exercises.
About the speaker:
Suriya Sanjeevan is a counsellor from the University Wellbeing Centre in NTU. He obtained his Master of Social Science in Professional Counselling from Swinburne University of Technology. He has 37 years of counselling experiences in the social service sector prior to joining NTU.
