Early Mental Potential & Wellbeing Research Centre (EMPOWER) was established in January 2024 as a University Research Institute with a broad remit to undertake transformative translational research in order to create sustainable positive impact during the early years of a child's life.

Our mission is to maximise every child’s mental and emotional capital by uplifting neurodevelopmental trajectories during early sensitive periods through interdisciplinary discovery science and translational technologies.
