Technology Showcase at Prudential
CAVR and Multi-plAtform Game Innovation Centre (MAGIC), NTU were invited by Prudential for a technology showcase at Prudential’s ThinkPlayce office on 15th August 2018. The NTU team shared insights about the capabilities of animation, Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) through demonstration of projects including animation technology, AR game Bukit Merah Relive, VR for studying neck mobility, Virtual NTU and AVR technology from EON Reality, CAVR’s partner. The staff at Prudential tried out the projects and had a better understanding on how they can incorporate Animation, VR and AR into their work to achieve better operational efficiency e.g. to have a multi-sensory engagement with customers and staff, and build a better emotional connection with customers through an interactive experience using the technologies.
