ATMRI Symposium on Human-centered, Cognitive, and Trusted AI Systems

03 Mar 2021 02.00 PM - 05.00 PM Current Students, Industry/Academic Partners, Prospective Students, Public
Organised by:

Artificial intelligence (AI) lies at the core of many sectors (e.g., air traffic
management, healthcare) that embrace technologies to augment human
cognitive abilities (e.g., traffic control, medical diagnosis). To build safe,
beneficial, and trusted human-AI systems, the human and/or machine side of the
human-AI partnership cannot be overlooked. By inviting researchers and
scientists from the top two universities in Singapore, NUS and NTU, this
symposium discusses human-AI cooperation from both explainable AI (XAI) and
cognitive neuroscience perspectives. By bringing together the frontier research
from XAI and neuroscience, we foresee huge potentials to yield benefits for both
fields and human-AI systems.
