According to the latest edition of the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) 2026 released by Clarivate, Biogeotechnics achieved an Impact Factor (IF) of 15.9, ranking 1st among 68 journals in the Engineering, Geological category.
Another leading international journal, Acta Geotechnica, was also ranked among the top 10 in the same category.
These achievements demonstrate the strong academic impact and growing influence of the journals within the engineering community.
Professor Chu Jian, Chair of the NTU School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), serves as Editor-in-Chief of Biogeotechnics and Editor of Acta Geotechnica.
About Biogeotechnics
