Self-Adaptivity to Address Uncertainties in Dynamic Environments

Self-adaptive systems are designed to handle the dynamic nature of their runtime contents during execution in an autonomous manner (or with minimal human intervention).  They include mechanisms to become aware of changes and uncertainties/variabilities in their execution environment and to identify and apply the most appropriate strategies to deal with them at runtime.
