Double Degree

A Double Degree Programme (DDP) covers any two programmes without diluting the depth of any one or both disciplines, allowing students to earn two separate degrees in different fields simultaneously.

Second Major

This is a study programme in which a student satisfies the requirement of a secondary major alongside the primary major. While the primary major predominates, the second major still affords a significant degree of depth although its AU requirement is set below that of the primary major.

Minor

This is a study programme that provides depth in a certain area outside that of a student's primary major. It may be taken within or outside a student's home school.

Diploma Holders

Applicants should have a relevant diploma from one of the local polytechnics. Those with a Certificate of Merit, Diploma with Merit or Diploma with Distinction may apply for any programme in NTU regardless of the diploma.

International Students

International students must have completed at least 12 years of general education, or will be taking Year 12 national examinations in the year of application, in order to be considered for admission.
