Initial Teacher Preparation (ITP) Programmes

The National Institute of Education offers a variety of programmes specialising in teacher education.

The Physical Education and Sports Science (PESS) academic group aims to develop student teachers in areas of professional competence and expertise in teaching physical education as a major subject.

The three initial teacher preparation programmes not only provide theoretical and practical courses in Physical Education, but also the knowledge and skills for student teachers to teach other academic school subjects.
