Kelvin Tan is Deputy Programme Director of ERI@N's EcoLabs Centre of Innovation for Energy. Kelvin works closely with start-ups, SMEs, international corporates and universities to co-innovate and co-development of products solution, solution architecture and test-bedding projects. Kelvin’s main role is to help and improve the performance of Singapore SMEs’ new innovative solutions by offering support, service,  innovative ideas and international partnerships to ensure that SMEs’ products, infrastructures and processes, meet the standards and regulations in terms of quality, health and safety. In addition, such partnerships to ensure SMEs’ solutions are compliant and remain competitive in global markets.

Prior to joining EcoLabs, Kelvin was with Envision digital and DNV. He has over 16 years of experience in the engineering and research field. At DNV, Kelvin was the Country Manager Singapore for DNV GL Energy and managed the Renewable and Energy advisory services in CTC (Clean Technology Centre). He has led various projects and opportunities on asset management, power system, intelligent building efficiency and renewable related consultancy services, including feasibility studies, condition assessment reviews, intelligent monitoring system design, digitalisation and risk assessments.
