Assoc Prof Christopher Lee was named recipient of the 10th Nagamori Award in September 2024. The award is to recognize outstanding researchers and engineers working on electrical and electronics engineering, especially related o motors, power generation, actuators and energy related topics. There are 6 awards given annually and each winner receives 2 million yen.
