Financial Support for Students

At NTU, there is no greater priority than ensuring a transformative educational experience through which all students, regardless of means, may step into their destiny as contributing global citizens.

With this aim of inspiring and creating life-changing experiences for our students, the University offers a range of bursaries to new and current undergraduates who face financial difficulties. Bursaries play a vital role in NTU's commitment to helping students realise their fullest potential.

No student should be deprived of university education because they come from a financially disadvantaged background. Your unwavering support, generosity, and commitment to this cause are instrumental in keeping this lifeline open for our students in need. With your support, we can ensure no student is left behind.

The NTU Priorities Fund offers financial assistance to the neediest NTU students who have no other recourse for help. By encouraging beneficiaries to pay it forward, the Fund will perpetuate the cycle of giving and create a culture of philanthropy, so that future generations of students can be assured of financial aid when they need it most. It is our hope that we can nurture this "evergreen fund" as a university resource to benefit future students who may need assistance.

The Fund was established in April 2020 with an initial sum of $100,000, a personal gift by NTU President Professor Subra Suresh and his wife, Mary Suresh, who are both firm believers in paying it forward. This is also part of the NTU COVID-19 Relief Package launched by NTU Singapore to assist students facing hardship due to the pandemic.
