Singapore has encouraged greater integration of students with disabilities in mainstream educational settings for decades. Policies and programs worked to implement support systems for students with learning disabilities and special educational needs. Mainstream government schools support the students through allied educators and dedicated groups of teachers trained in Special Needs. ITEs and Polytechnics have set up special offices to assist students with various learning accessibility challenges. This talk will highlight the types of services and assistance provided by the various educational institutes and explore how schools can move towards inclusive education for all.
