We are delighted to welcome you to this online symposium hosted by the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Exeter and Department of Linguistics and Multilingual Studies at

Nanyang Technological University.

The presentations will focus on case studies of multilingualism and migration with a particular focus on the multilingual city, followed by a final round table on the study of multilingualism in the city. Speakers from both universities will present their current research, together with experts from other universities in the UK, Germany, East Timor and Australia. This symposium has been jointly organised by the University of Exeter, UK (Dr Francesco Goglia) and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (Prof Francesco Cavallaro) and supported financially by Exeter Global Partnerships (2020-21 Outward Mobility Academic Fellowship).

This is an online event hosted via Zoom by The University of Exeter - Department of Modern Languages and Cultures. The event is free to attend.
