SCSE Freshmen Virtual Orientation 2020

The University and the School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE) warmly welcomed our freshmen during the SCSE Transition and Orientation Programme (TOP) 2020, our first virtual orientation.

The virtual orientation programme was held over a period of 2 days from 3rd-4th August. With the help of student leaders from the School, the freshmen were introduced to the various facilities within the University through a virtual campus tour. Through the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Club, the freshmen were given glimpse of the vibrancy in campus life and the numerous student led activities and events that freshmen can fondly look forward to. The University Freshmen Welcome was also held virtually online where the University officially welcomed all freshmen. This is an important rite of passage for freshmen to be inducted into the University. They were also welcomed by the SCSE Chair and Associate Chairs, sharing with them the SCSE programme and experiences. They were briefed on the school’s academic and support system.
