SCSE Admissions Information Session 2022

After a 2-year hiatus from physical events, SCSE conducted its annual admissions information session at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre on 14 May 2022.

The event commenced at 1.30 pm with our emcees Ananya (BCG, Year 2) and Tze Kean (CS, Year 1) having ice breaker conversations with SCSE students at various tables and asking attendees about their thoughts and expectations. 

This was followed by a zoom sharing by 4 alumni:

- who joined us virtually from various locations in Singapore and from abroad to share their experiences as well as some tips on managing academics and university life. They also answered many questions that were asked on Slido.

At about 2.30 pm, a panel of SCSE Professors took to the stage to address questions from the audience and on Slido. The panel consisted of Assoc Prof Sun Aixin, Assoc Prof Chan Syin, Assoc Prof Nicholas Vun, Prof Quek Hiok Chai and Assoc Prof Lam Siew Kei.

The session concluded with Prof Miao Chun Yan – Chair of SCSE, reiterating the strengths of the various UG programs, and thanking everyone for their time. 

The guests were then served a scrumptious bento tea and networked with faculty, students, and staff at their tables.
