SCSE post-graduates and faculty members have brought home a “Distinguished Paper Award” from the 37th IEEE/ACM International Conference on Automated Software Engineering (ASE). It was among 11 Distinguished Paper Awards selected from the 116 accepted papers out of 527 submissions this year. The conference was held from 10 to 14 October 2022. Each year, it brings together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to discuss foundations, techniques, and tools for automating the analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of large software systems.

Mr Zhang Lyuye is a second-year PhD student, supervised by Professor Liu Yang. His research interest is the analysis and governance of open-source software. Mr Liu Chengwei is a third-year PhD student, supervised by Prof Liu Yang. His research interest lies in Software Security including Program Analysis, Open Source Security, Software Supply Chain Security, Open Source Governance, etc.
