A) A good honours degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related discipline with solid mathematical training

or

B) a good bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related discipline with solid mathematical training and 2 years relevant industry experience

and
Minimum TOEFL score (Internet-based = 100, paper-based = 600, computer-based=250) or IELTS score (6.5) for graduates of universities in which English is not the medium of instruction.

Related disciplines include but not limited to bachelor's programmes offered by the College of Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Check Application/Result Status	Owing to the large number of applicants, we are unable to attend to phone or email enquiries on application status/results. You may check your application status 3 working days after you have made successful online payment.

Applications are to be submitted electronically only. Late submissions would not be accepted and any other form of submission would not be processed.

*Applicants should consider carefully that they are able to cope with work/personal/financial commitments before applying/accepting admission as full-time/part-time candidates.

MSAI programme is an intensive one-year full-time (or 2-year part-time) programme by coursework. Students will be awarded the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence after completion of study. The minimum and maximum periods of candidature for full-time candidates are 12 and 30 months respectively.

For part-time candidates, they are 24 and 48 months respectively. The programme consists of a total of 30 Academic Units (AUs), with 12 AUs stemming from core courses and 18 AUs from master project and elective courses, covering general AI techniques and techniques especially for image, video, IOT and time series data. Each course is 3 AUs and has 39 contact hours consisting of lectures, tutorials, example classes and labs over 13 weeks.

The master project of AI is a one-year project with 6 AUs. The master project is not a compulsory component. The bridging course, Python Programming, with zero AU is for students who have graduated from bachelor programmes with limited programming training and working adults who do not usually write codes. All students can take the bridging course in their first semester. It is not a compulsory course.

$5000 deposit fee is a part of the total program fee. After the payment of this acceptance fee, it will be deducted from your first semester fee.

1. This is a self-financing programme, and is not eligible for Service Obligation or Financial Assistance (i.e. Tuition Fee Loan).
2. Tuition fee is payable each semester regardless of the number of courses registered that term.
3. Tuition fee is payable even if the student did not register any courses that semester unless the student has been approved for Leave of Absence (LOA) for that semester by the 2nd week of the academic term.
4. Students who apply for LOA or withdraw two or more weeks after the semester commences shall be liable for tuition fees and miscellaneous fees due for the entire term.
5. The University reserves the right to revise its fees every year without notice.

GRANTS

NTU Alumni Grant

NTU alumni who completed an undergraduate or post-graduate degree programme with NTU will receive a one-time grant of 10% off the tuition fees (before GST). This grant will be applied on the final payment of the course, and it can only be used to offset the tuition fees and no other fees related to the course of study.

Education loans with some leading banks/institutions that offer optimal lending terms to eligible applicants are available.

Please note that NTU is not an agent for these banks/institutions and students must apply for the loans directly with the respective banks/institutions and abide by their terms and conditions.
