Biography
Dr Quek has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare IT and general management. He has both public and private sector experience having served as Chief Information Officer in:
· National Healthcare Group, Singapore
· Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore
· Raffles Medical Group, Singapore
He was also a member of the pioneer team that started the development of the Farrer Park Hospital and medical centre. He has also led a software development team in India for a Singapore healthcare IT software company. More recently, he was running the business operations of a Singapore SME.
This broad-based experience enables him to appreciate the needs of the healthcare and technology industry sectors from not only the public and private sector perspectives but also from the viewpoints of the end-user, business owner and vendor.
