Webinar Session: “What the Pandemic has Taught Us”
We are going through a “once in a lifetime” global crisis which is affecting all countries, businesses, and people. We are also witnessing unprecedented efforts to fight this pandemic through economic measures, scientific discoveries and innovations, and social collaborations. A crisis like this changes us all, disrupts businesses and transforms societies. Changes that would typically take long periods of time during normal times now get accelerated in a short period of time. Transition to “Work from Home (WFH)” happened overnight and we got used to WFH as well as the organisations that we work for. What can we learn from this crisis? How can we emerge out of this crisis stronger? What are the lessons for scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs? Which fields and disciplines will benefit from our experiences? Kris Gopalakrishnan works with entrepreneurs in building companies and supports scientists in research. He shares his perspectives on the lessons from the pandemic.
